Why We Built Vanagonmaniac
We didn’t set out to start a business — we just wanted to fix what wasn’t working. Too many VW camper owners were stuck choosing between overpriced OEM parts or cheap, ill-fitting canvas tents that didn’t last.
So we made our own. And then we made it better.
Where We Started
Vanagonmaniac was born in Latvia, inside a workshop where we restore VW T3 Westfalias for rental and personal use. Our first canvas tents were made just for our own vans — but soon, other owners started asking if they could get one too.
